Dr Catherine Chudleigh

  • Catherine is a warm and compassionate psychologist who values the connection and the relationship as an integral part of the therapeutic process. Catherine is skilled at integrating therapeutic techniques depending on the latest research and the presenting concerns for her clients.

    Catherine has over 13 years of experience working across public, private and research sectors. This has included working at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead where she specialised in running a treatment program for young people with functional somatic symptoms. Catherine also has experience working with young people and adults in private practice.

  • Catherine is currently providing psychological therapy to adolescents and adults. Catherine has a particular interest in working within an attachment framework. She has extensive experience treating people with functional somatic symptoms and enjoys helping people make the connections between their body and mind.

    Catherine is experienced and interested in working with people with chronic health conditions, anxiety, depression, stress, parenting, perinatal mental health, grief, trauma and interpersonal difficulties.

  • Catherine is a board approved supervisor with endorsement in Clinical Psychology. She teaches postgraduate clinical psychology programs, paediatric programs and at conferences specific to Functional Neurological Disorder.

    Catherine provides specialised supervision on: Functional Neurological Disorder, Functional Somatic Symptoms and Child and Adolescent Mental Health.

  • Catherine has completed the following:

    • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The University of Sydney

    • Masters of Science from The University of Sydney.

    • Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) from The University of Sydney.

    Catherine is registered with the Australian Health Practitioners’ Registration Agency (AHPRA) with Clinical Psychology Endorsement (PSY0001118264). Catherine is a Board Approved Supervisor and has full membership with The Australian Psychological Society (APS).

    Catherine has developed a treatment protocol for Functional Neurological Disorder with numerous publications in peer reviewed journals.

Dr Georgia McClure

  • Georgia (she/her) is an empathic and warm Clinical Psychologist who provides a range of psychological interventions and support to children, adolescents, adults and couples. Georgia has over 10 years experience working across public, private and research domains and previously worked across speciality teams at the Children’s Hospital Westmead for many years.

    Georgia takes a holistic, individualised, collaborative approach when working with her clients and creates a warm, safe, person-centred therapeutic environment.

  • Georgia works with children, adolescents and adults. When working with children and adolescent clients, Georgia utilises an attachment framework and parents/families are also involved in therapeutic intervention.

    Georgia works with young people and adults with a range of mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, pain, functional neurological disorder, gender dysphoria/gender identity, stress, adjustment issues, parenting and relational issues.

    Georgia also works with couples for relationship therapy. Georgia utilises Gottman Method Couples therapy in her work.

    Georgia draws on a range of therapeutic interventions including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and attachment-based approaches.

  • Georgia is a board approved supervisor with endorsement in Clinical Psychology. She has taught in undergraduate and postgraduate clinical psychology programs.

    Georgia can provide clinical supervision across a range of mental health issues. She also provides speciality clinical supervision and training in gender identity/gender dysphoria in children and adolescents and general child and adolescent mental health.

    Bachelor of Arts - Psychology (Hons) at Macquarie University

Blanche Savage

  • Blanche has over 15 year experience working in mental health services in Sydney, and over ten years experience working in specialized child and adolescent mental health services at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.

    Blanche believes in the importance of connection and the therapeutic relationship in making meaningful change.

    Blanche uses a variety of evidence based therapies with her clients and is always interested in learning new skills.

  • Blanche sees children, young people, and adults in her clinical practice. She has particular interest and experience in working in the following areas:

    • Functional neurological disorder

    • Chronic illness

    • Clinical hypnosis

    • Clinical hypnosis for gut disorders

  • Blanche is a board approved supervisor with endorsement in Clinical Psychology. She has over 15 years experience in clinical supervision and has supervised mental health professionals with a wide variety of clinical experience and background.

    Blanche can provide specialised supervision in the areas of:

    • Functional somatic symptoms

    • Functional Neurological disorder

    • Family therapy

    • Child & Adolescent mental health

    • Trauma based therapy

  • Blanche holds the following qualifications:

    • B. Psychology (Hons) from UNSW

    • Masters of Clinical Psychology (Hons) from UNSW

    • Graduate Diploma in Family Therapy from AIRS

    In addition, Blanche has post graduate training in clinical hypnosis.

    Blanche is registered with AHPRA’s Psychology Board of Australia (PSY0001356874). She holds a practice endorsement in Clinical Psychology.

    Blanche has numerous publications in peer reviewed journals based on her work in the area of Functional Somatic Symptoms.
